FAQ's
What is ceremonial grade matcha powder?
Ceremonial Grade Matcha is the highest quality of matcha, made from the first spring harvest, where only the youngest, most vibrant tea leaves are handpicked. Mytcha is sourced from Kagoshima, Japan, known for its rich volcanic soil and pristine growing conditions, giving you a smooth, nutrient-dense, and umami-rich experience.
Is your matcha organic?
Our matcha is grown without pesticides, so while it is technically organic, in Australia becoming officially certified requires hefty fees that aren’t realistic for us as a small business right now. That said, our matcha is certified organic in Japan, so you can feel confident knowing we’d never offer our gorgeous customers anything less.

What are the health benefits of drinking matcha?
Mytcha is packed with antioxidants, L-theanine, and chlorophyll, helping to:
- Support gut health
- Reduce inflammation
- Boost metabolism & aid fat loss
- Balance hormones
- Clear your skin & slow aging
- Increase focus & mental clarity
- Provide calm, sustained energy without the jitters
Is your matcha free from additives?
Yes! Mytcha is 100% certified organic in Japan, free from pesticides, heavy metals, and any nasty additives. Many matcha powders on the market lose their benefits due to poor quality or chemical exposure. With Mytcha, you're getting pure, clean energy and nutrients in every sip.
How should I store my matcha powder?
To keep Mytcha fresh and vibrant, empty the silver bag into the can, and store in a cool, dark place. For maximum freshness and taste, we recommend keeping the can in the fridge after opening.
